Regarding my Hiatus... · 2:21pm Nov 10th, 2014
I need help guys. I had a plot going for Tobirama Senju Goes to Equestria but after thinking about it long and hard(probably too hard) It seems that the plot was flawed. I won't go into details, and I don't want Nightmare Moon to be the main villain. Mainly because it's been done too many times. Does anyone have ideas for a new villain? I've brainstormed a lot but I still haven't settled on a villain, although I do have some good ideas for future chapters and the next chapter is half finished.
I have also had a lot of crazy real-life stuff to deal with including vocational programs, job problems, and the cherry on top is that I now have to move. BUT WAIT! Our septic systems is not up to the buyer's standards so I have spent the past two days digging up my yard trying to find the right pipe that this repair guy can look into to see what the problem is. So all in all...I haven't abandoned my readers. I simply haven't had the time, motivation, or inspiration for that matter.
An evil villain? Well since Nightmare isn't too permanent a villain, how about Chrysalis and her changelings? There's some potential plot there with creatures that can pull off a complete henge. If Tobirama is hanging out near the Everfree for any period, there could be some border disputes between the changelings and Appleloosa, only a stone's throw away from the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters (At least looking from the map). Also from a parasite that feeds on emotions, it could be twisted to fit with spiritual energy, the one half of chakra. At least, I wouldn't find that too far fetched. Something that close to spiritual energy could be able to pull off some neat genjutsu as well.
I might need to reread some of it, considering it's been awhile since I've read it, but it could work with moral disputes of interfering with a nation that's not his own or coming to the defense of the town with little to no information on his repercussions for such an action. As leader of his own nation, he would have some awareness to stay out of it, but how long can he just sit back and watch?
Just my own personal go at it. I hope things clear up for you, that seems like a pretty full plate ya got there.
If you’re still looking for an antagonist, how about the storm king? I think it would be interesting to have Tobirama explore the advanced technology and watch him get pissed off at the storm king’s stupidity.
