    Wood You Kindly

I feel like every night I go to bed the trees find a way to multiply and create more wood. The area seems cleaner than before, but man, still two and a half trees to go. We are no where near done cleaning up that mess yet and there is enough wood in my backyard to create a privacy fence just from stacking it, seriously, the pile of wood is huge. Timber Day 2

Welp, there's an image. This is after clearing out about two giant piles of vines, filling up the pickup truck again, and cutting up a huge branch that fell out of another tree. It doesn't look like much, but its a lot more work than I thought. The chainsaw is helping speed things along quiet a bit though.

    Timber!

The new chapter is coming along great, I have the whole thing planned out and written on paper, now I just have to transfer it to my google drive and copy/paste it here. I probably wood (hah, lumberjack puns) have had the chapter done on my drive by tonight already but as the title of the blog suggests. Two massive trees behind my house fell over in a storm last night. I've been cutting up wood

    Love the way you move

Something about that song by Slightly Left of Centre brought back my drive to write. I'm writing up story prompts here and there, wishing that I could whip out my laptop at school and finish writing the story I've been slowly writing over the past two years.

Wood You Kindly · 3:43am Nov 10th, 2014

I feel like every night I go to bed the trees find a way to multiply and create more wood. The area seems cleaner than before, but man, still two and a half trees to go. We are no where near done cleaning up that mess yet and there is enough wood in my backyard to create a privacy fence just from stacking it, seriously, the pile of wood is huge. Tomorrow after I get home from school Ill take a picture of the wood pile and post it here.

After everything calms down tomorrow I might or might not get to work on the new chapter. progress is coming really slowly on it since I haven't written in a while but it will be done eventually. After reviewing what I thought was finished I decided there needed to be more so I'm trying to get that done before I go any further with the typing portion of it all.

Anyway, im really tired and really need to get some sleep.

Goodnight all, have a wonderful night, you're all amazing.

2585506 Definately, I already started burning some of it, three hours worth of a fire and the pile of wood looks exactly the same to me XD. Also, I love your avatar pic.

2587523 I have outdoor fires in a giant hole in the ground, nothing to worry about... To much :pinkiecrazy:
Just kidding, but I do love huge fires.

That's a good question, I think that's why I picked the picture. I love thinking about stuff like, puzzles, life, and anything you can really contemplate. It's one of my favorite pass times so people tell me I would make a good philosopher. :pinkiehappy:

2591651 I did Nazi that coming (bad pun, oh ho ho ho) :derpytongue2: I shall post a picture of the hole I'm in the process of making tomorrow it's way to dark to get a picture of it right now. Maybe I'll be able to finish putting the bricks in the bottom of it too.

Indeed, it keeps the mind sharp but first you need a good subject to debate about and another person. Unless you are creative enough to create a person with their own ideas aside from yours in your head then debate with them whilst walking home from school (which I have done before, it sure makes time go by a lot quicker) Maybe thats just me though :twilightsheepish:

2593755 Yeah, and don't worry, I just don't have a fireplace so I made a fire pit in my backyard by digging a hole in the ground and putting a tire rim in it to help contain the fire. However the rim isn't mine and I have to give it back to my cousin so I made the hole square and am in the process of lining it with bricks so I don't accidentally set the grass on fire. I love having bon fires.

I would love to listen to music on the way home but I can't stand not being in tune with my surroundings. I like to be able to hear what's going on around me. Maybe that's just me being paranoid though.

2594557 No worries, I make sure the fires are controlled and there's a fire extinguisher in the garage as well. Here's a picture of it in progress.

I just finished putting all the bricks in the bottom of the pit and I sanded those stumps to make them more suitable for sitting. I have to figure out how to get that log in the back to stop rolling around and I'll be all good. but it's pitch black outside right now so I stopped work,

I suppose so, I was always taught to be really aware of my surroundings growing up. One thing that I do with music though, is match things that my friends are doing with songs that I know. For most situations I know a song that fits. Lol :pinkiehappy: Oh, and I love the picture, I could totally see Lyra setting Bon Bon on fire :rainbowlaugh:

2600086 The bricks on the bottom is so I can easily scoop out the ashes afterwards and have a clean fire pit for the next fire. besides I ran out of bricks. All I had to do was move around the log a bit and it stopped moving (the ground in my backyard is really uneven).

More or less I just listen to so much music (from almost every genre) that pretty much whatever happens I know at least one song that would fit the situation. My brother always starts laughing when I belt out lyrics from old songs that perfectly fit the situation at hand :rainbowlaugh:

Aw man, camping in the cold, I probably would have just used all the time that I wasn't working to write. Other than the time I've used to reply lately all I've done is eat, sleep, and work (not in that order), I think today is the first day I'll have maybe an hour of time to write in a while. Maybe I'll get that chapter done before the end of the year :rainbowlaugh::ajsleepy:

2604078 Genres I don't like: 99 percent of country, about half of rap (what I call ghetto rap because you can't understand what's being said) and screamo. Cant stand screamo. Everything else I listen to. from classical, to rock, to jazz, techno, the other half of rap, etc etc.

Yeah, the sad thing is, is that I don't even have a job. Most of the stuff I do is work around the house and my auto body class at school. Other than that I'm dead tired. I never believed in pessimism, lol. I can be really mad and still seem happy to others. :rainbowlaugh: I was always told I had the ability to treat my emotions like a mask. Pick and choose which one I put on and that's what everyone sees. I don't know, it was always a skill of mine, I've always been optimistic :pinkiehappy:

2609570 I have a similar issue. My sister who has lived with me my entire life cannot tell when I'm being sarcastic and when I'm serious due to my incredibly monotone voice. It's kind of funny honestly.

Past lives are a pain, I believe something happened to me on Halloween in a past live because I can never seem to be happy on October 31.

I'm assuming you got the charger replaced or fixed? As much as I love my laptop, it's 8 years old now and probably the only reason it works even slightly decently is because it was a gaming laptop in its time, now it's a joke to the world of technology :rainbowlaugh:

2611297 I enjoy technology a lot too, I just have little to no money and pretty much no time to experiment with anything other than updating drivers, researching what each part is and what it does (I read a 1200 plus page book on a computer certification even though I'm not old enough to take the test to become certified), and I can dismantle and put back together laptops and computers alike. Wow that was one heck of a run-on right there. But I've never been able to tinker with operating systems or replacing anything other than ram (I upgraded my laptop from 512mb to 2gigs). The laptop was a gift what seems like forever ago, but I never used it for gaming other than really simple games such as: Luxor, bookworm plants vs, zombies, and a few indie games or low requirement games of today (super hexagon & VVVVVV)

And I use it as a laptop, but keep it further away from that area more towards my knees.

I don't really mind this weird Halloween thing that goes on, because I usually just sit in my room and think most of the day (the philosopher within me tends to come out on days like that). Lately on Halloween I'm just super relaxed rather than depressed these past couple years. I guess I'm overcoming it :pinkiehappy:

2615090 How much I would give to be able to build my own computer rather than being stuck with this outdated laptop. I'm about 50 percent through super hexagon even though I don't play it that much.

Funny you mention Mario Kart, I actually busted out the old Mario Kart 64 last Halloween. The N64 controller still feels so right even after all these years and all it's changes to controller styles.

Speaking of T-Day (I'm assuming that's Turkey Day. Lol). I never thought that I would find myself saying, "You will eat at least 4 plates of food, you need to gain weight this year.:rainbowlaugh: As a kid I was always really short and fat, then my metabolism decided to work overtime for all the time it slacked during my childhood and I grew about two and a half feet and became almost underweight. My family is incredibly jealous because they have to eat like a normal human to remain a healthy weight. Then there's me who specifically eats a ton of food so that I don't lose too much weight and become underweight. :rainbowlaugh::moustache:

2625990 Thanksgiving sounded fun for you, I could have eaten like ten plates if I was there. I literally ate two stuffed plates of desserts and almost a whole plate of deviled eggs plus like 6 more the next morning.

I'm actually getting pretty good at super hexagon right now, I've started playing it more since I can run it on my laptop and I'm way more used to the screen on my laptop and all my laptops buttons than the ones for my moms computer (which I put a graphics card in ages ago to make it a gaming computer). I almost beat another level of it yesterday :rainbowlaugh:

How is it that any house not have at least one three pronged plug, all the plugs in my house have 3 prongs. Maybe next time you could bring an extension cord with two prongs on one side and a three prong plug on the other? If they exist that is.

It's been a really long time since I've seen a rotary dial phone, my aunt had one but then she passed away and I think it got tossed in the trash, such a shame, they look so awesome.

WHAT! Victrola were some of the best record players ever! And I'm not very knowledgeable in records, but Minnie the Moocher would have been valuable if it was an original record.

Whenever I type on any other computer I always mess up a lot. I'm really good at typing on the keyboards at school too because they are similar to my laptops keys, but the keyboard that's at my computer has a bunch of half broken keys so I can literally end up not typing half a sentence or whole words. It's really a pain.

I like old things, they worked well, were made well, and last longer than most stuff nowadays. I actually still have my great grandfathers wallet, a bunch of tools and his canteen from WW2. He was a really awesome person.:pinkiesad2:

Enough sadness though. I read up on ways to keep myself alert and awake (courtesy of "ArtofManliness.com") and this weekend I'm going to see if I can manage to get some story done. I really want to start writing again, but I keep falling asleep if I sit too long (maybe I should try standing while I write?) Either way. THis weekend is experiment week I guess since I'm also going ot be messing with the flavor of ramen all weekend :pinkiehappy:
