Disturbing reports are coming in involving a severe number of changeling stories infiltrating the home page of Fimfiction.net. As of late, this outbreak of stories revolving around the same (admittedly interesting) creatures featured in the season 2 finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is leaving people in confusion. Why does such a phenomenon happen now? Is it because the brony authors of this site are running short of ideas, and seek the unexplored past and shape-shifting abilities of the changelings as an escape from their lack of creative insight? Or is it because the changeling master race is simply too awesome to ignore? Whatever the cause maybe, these are desperate times, and only Celestia knows what the future holds for this fan-fiction site where bronies of all ages come to escape criticism for their creative ideas.

It's the same reason why there were a lot of penguin movies a few years back, or why there's a lot of vampire and zombie movies now. Because one thing gets really popular, then people want another, then another, etc.
That, or, the changelings are taking over the site one story at a time. They could be anyone, and they could be anywhere...
