Back from vacation+EQD submission: Holy ---- guys! · 5:32am Jun 21st, 2012
Hey all,
So I submit D&D the day I leave for vacation. Up in Oregon, I snag an internet connection at a Starbucks, and staring at me in my mailbox is a reply from the Fanfic box of EQD, dated the day after I sent it in.
They liked it. They conditionally accepted it.
There's still one minor rewrite I have to do first, and I have to send an outline for the remaining unwritten chapters, which has taken up most of my vacation writing time that I had intended to give to Second Thoughts.
But once that happens, I'm...in!
*Squeee*
Ahem. Yes, much excitement and joy. Posting this story on EQD has been my dream for it ever since I started writing it, and it has been one h-ll of a time trying to get it up there. It almost didn't happen, but fortune or luck or whatever divine providence gave me another shot.
Expect a dedication/thanks post, with much more squee and party, once it actually gets posted.
