When the day of Pinkie's wedding comes, Cheese, one of the wedding planning duo, must warm up Pinkie's cold hooves.
Just a little snippet of Pinkie before her wedding and where Cheese comforts her so that she goes through with it. If you want something more from this, listen to "You Don't Need to Love Me," from If/Then. This is sorta kinda CheesePie, but rather loosely, because Pinkie and Sombra is STILL the main ship. It's just that Cheesie is gonna be a really good friend to Pinks in this fic, despite how he feels.

Spike and Sombra's broship is gonna really show through with this one. So, um, it's been forever since I've written a Spike and Sombra bro fic... WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH ME? Seriously, those two have an awesome broship, not gonna lie! They're SO FUN to write, too! Also, perhaps a slight bit of Sparity in the fic... YES, I SHIP IT, BLAME KILALA FOR IT. Also, Discord is gonna be Discord, and be hilarious and fun to write, as always.

Sombra's dealt with many things in his life. He overcame a dark version of himself, gained the love of his life despite all odds and somehow managed to keep a happy life. Of course, none of those things can compare to dealing with Pinkie during pregnancy.
But, after months of floury covered days and sleepless nights, the due date finally arrives, leaving Sombra nothing to do but wait outside the delivery room and reflect.
Inspired by If/Then, in the song, "Hey, Kid".
You Remind Me...
It's been years since Cheese has gotten even a twitch about Ponyville. Not a party, not a hootenanny, not even a shindig. He gets letters from Pinkie every now and then, but it's not the same as seeing her.
But, when in Manehatten one day, Cheese runs into a little filly who wants to be a party pony just like him. And this little filly reminds him of somepony special...
Thing about Cheese is, I don't think I can see him with anypony else other than Pinkie without it seeming forced or inorganic. I thought about Maud at one point, but then realized how weird that would be and scrapped the idea altogether. So, I figured that maybe Cheese wouldn't be able to move on from Pinkie and perhaps would roam alone. But, that made me really sad! I like Cheese! Then, I figured, "Maybe Cheese doesn't need a special somepony, but rather somepony who's special." So, the whole idea of him having a little filly accompany him as he plans parties makes feel me all warm inside... Especially if that filly reminds him of somepony who made him who he is today.

I'll admit, when I saw the title and picture for Hey Kid, I thought of the line from Hellsing Ultimate Arbridged, "Hey kids, wanna see a dead body?!"

yyyyyeah, I've never been able to imagine Cheese with Maud. It's just . . . odd, and even weirdly incestuous. i don't know why, but it just is. AND YES, everyone, even in real life, does not absolutely need a special somepony, especially if it isn't the right special somepony. What matters is being the right pony for somepony special, especially a colt or a filly who needs you.

2570863 Truth is that I adore CheeseWiz and that tumblr. I think it would be a nightmarish relationship (and the tumblr doesn't exactly deny that), but at least it's funny and doesn't make me scratch my head and say "wut." Still, looks like Harmony Charmer's got her own developed plan over a couple of story arcs, so I'm going to kick back and see what she does.
I really need to read your stories eventually. All of then.
Fantastic ideas. I can't wait for then to be written. Also, I've thought about shipping Cheese and Maud. It is weird, but not too weird. I mean if Maud loves Pinkie for all her 'Pinkieness' then I'm sure the fact that Cheese is just like her would make Maud feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
