Mindcracked finished! Sequel inbound! · 12:03am Nov 3rd, 2014
As many of you have seen, I finally finished Mindcracked. While I do feel the ending was kinda weak, it does set the stage for the sequel, which I've already started writing. I've already run into a snag, though.
First, let me give you the rundown of the story. It's titled Mindcracked 2: New Chunks. It stars Princess Celestia and Princess Luna in the Crack Pack world, Mindcrack's modded server. I'll be basing the story off of the Crack Pack 2.0 server, meaning there will be less combat and more exploration. I'll try to have the story explore many of the different mods the pack has to offer, while interacting with the players along the way.
Now, the snag: I have the sisters searching for the source of a large magic flare-up. However, none of the people on the server have dabbled in any magic mods so far. Should I diverge from what's happening on the server for now, introducing one of the other Crafters ahead of time, or should I wait until someone dives into a magic mod, delaying the release of the story? Are there any other options?
I'd also like to involve the readers a bit, so I'll ask another question. I plan on the princesses setting up a base, preparing for a long stay. What kind of base should they have? Right now, I'm thinking something along the lines of a floating ice castle, resting on a cloud. Something fantasy-like, that could only be done in Minecraft. Of course, they'd start with nothing more than a cobble hut, but I'm talking long-term.
