I'm a big fan of Your Human and You. I updated right at the same time Madmax did. Right off of the bat my story hit the front page higher up when his story has 3000 upvotes.

2568148 C'mon - removing this noise is rather simple and the image is honestly not that difficult. Open Gimp / Photoshop and play to your heart's content (a super-quick NiK Dfine 2 + small unsharp mask would be a good starting point - I certainly liked the result).

That may just be the wide bias against HIE rearing its ugly head.

I'm also a fan of YHAY, though the latest chapter was cloppier than I expected, considering the rest of the story.

That said, I'm pretty sure I read yours first, because CD is silly stupid fun, but YHAY has a more deep, often serious feel to it. No offense intended.

It might be that, or it could just be the fact that, despite the unique approach to a HiE, it has a LOT of flaws that severely detract from the overall quality of the story. And the longer the story has gone on, the more it's collected. HiEs are a guilty pleasure of mine. I almost always at least check out the new ones when they release, and I tried, I tried so hard to stick with YHaY, but I just couldn't. It got to be too much.

I gave up on it right about the time that it was revealed that all of his guards are super-unique special snowflakes and they were secretly building everyone black and glowing red armor in the basement underneath their bloody human hand print banner. That was the final shark-jump for me.

Changeling Doll beat it out in the feature box because it's legitimately a better story than YHaY.
