The prologue to my first pony story seems to be doing well. I'm glad!
I'm trying out a more dramatic (if that's what you want to call it) writing style. Normally I just try to do a simplistic story without too much detail, and the characters aren't to in depth for me to handle. I'll be practicing character building later, but for now I'm just experimenting with details and plot development.
I've never been good at plots. The prologue to Boomerang is the first chapter I ever planned ahead on, mainly by just writing down in a list what I want to happen in the chapter and then following it as I write. If anyone reading this has any advice on how to plan characters, or plots, or just chapters, I'd love the help. How do you do it?
I'll be heading back to school on the 4th, so there will probably be an update on Boomerang within the next few days. I also meant to have a Christmas special up (another experiment, this time with slice of life) but never got around to finishing it with the holidays, so I'll publish it at a later date, maybe in a few weeks, but the good timing is gone.
Anyways, have a good day everypony! I'm tired, going to sleep now!
