Okay, so I know I've done this before, but I finally have an update to provide.
Over the last month and a half, I've written several horsewords. Probably close to 10,000.
Unfortunately, they've been spread across five different stories. Some of these will likely never see the light of day, they're just terrible ideas.
But one, I think, is ready for a second pair of eyes.
It's called Barnyard Busted!, and is a [Slice of Life]/[Friendshipping] story featuring the CMC and Diamond Tiara. I don't feel like it warrants the [Sad] tag, but there'll (hopefully, if I don't totally fail at this whole writing thing) be some things that pull a bit at the heartstrings in the later chapters. Yes, it's a multi-chapter affair, but I don't believe it'll be more than about 15-20k words. I've got a fairly sturdy outline for it, and it's fairly narrowly focused, so I shouldn't get too far off the path with this one. Ping me if you'd be interested/willing to help me out by giving it a once-over. The first chapter's only about 2k words right now, and though I'd like to say it's done-done, I'm sure I'll toss in a few more here and there. It shouldn't grow to over 2500, though. I'd imagine that'll be the average length of chapters for this story, but we'll see.
I know, I've had a lot of false starts lately, but I think I can stick with this one.
For those of you following Pinkamena's Tribulation, what does this mean? Well, honestly, I don't know at this point. I haven't written a word of Pinkamena since the last chapter came out. And, as you may have noticed, I don't usually produce at the speed of SS&E, so having another fic to contend with is probably just going to make the issue worse. I'm not putting it on hiatus, but....I also can't make any promises about a new chapter anytime soon. When it happens, it happens, but, as always, I thank you for your patience and readership.

I can sympathise with the delay's to Pinkie's Trib, I've failed to update any of the stuff I was working on for .... however long it's been since March .... so you won't be getting any stick from me over it.
These things happen, and as long as you can get yourself to come back to it later, taking a break can be a good thing for a story.

As far as PT is concerned, I'll definitely do everything in my power to finish it, even if that happens after the show has ended (though I sure hope it won't take that long). Right now, honestly, there's just too much junk going on in my life, and there's a lot of moving parts to that story to worry about. I'll keep opening the gDoc for the next chapter, though, and hopefully one of these days words will start appearing on the page.
