I just published my newest 'riveting' tale, 'Agape' a few hours ago. The response has been far less than I expected.
I don't know what I did wrong! Okay, I made a 20k word chapter. Is it THAT big of a deal? I split it into two now but it's not the same.
I'm not changing it, I worked hard on it, and I think the message needs to be out there. But...dang it! Everyone's supposed to love it, not trash it.
Never expect everyone to like anything. Always expect readers to point out whats wrong
2562809 I know I should, but all I've gotten is "This is bait" "Why is this all shit?" and complaint about chapter length. Uggh, this has ruined my day. I worked real hard on it too. <droop>
