Listen Fillies and Colts, for I have a tale of sadness.

Everypony loves Nightmare Night, it is a night of Spooks and scares, and of candy. Every filly and colt loves to dress up and achieve the honor of the best candy haul. But one year, it was canceled altogether, in a area called new jersneigh. A violent plague had struck equestria, and even though it had not reached New Jersneigh, the mayor of the area, a fat stallion named Chris Christy decided to cancel the event altogether, not caring for the dreams of the fillies and colts, but for his own political agenda. Even when the great princesses, Celestia and Luna, commanded him to stop, he refused, and the ponies of new jersneigh were forced down, not allowed outside for fear of a one thousand bit fine, more than most families have to throw around, and the brave fillies and colts who dared defy this rule were arrested, thrown into jail for doing what they thought was right.
