I saw that movie last weekend. It was a cute movie, but that's not really why I'm here. Towards the end of the movie, the main character, Megan, was at a party and was talking to this guy. The scene started in the middle of their conversation. The first thing he said was "The show's not only for kids," and I was already smiling. Next, he was talking about how it had action/adventure, so it was interesting. Then, he said that it also teaches you about friendship. I was beyond sure that he was talking about MLP. Finally, he said that his favorite character was Applejack and my suspicions were correct!
This is a completely normal movie that you can rent on OnDemand! The scene only lasted about a minute, before she left, uninterested with him, but they still put in into the movie! I should mention that the guy was a brony, as he was probably 30-ish. It was just so cool to see that it has leaked into mainstream movies that actually have nothing to do with MLP as a whole!
