    ...

Sorry guys, but I don't think I'm going to be able to finish any of the stories I started.

So There's This Really Awesome Brony Site...

It's called iBrony. Basically it's a combination of Facebook and Tumblr (and a few other sites) made solely for bronies. It's fun, you can write blogs, message each other, share pictures, music, art, tthe whole shebang. You can also roleplay and even get bits every now and then for free!
If you want to join iBrony, here's the link.

    Special Talents Alert

Just so you guys know, I changed Special Talents. *sigh* Again. But don't worry. Hopefully I will get the next couple of chapters done this week (as it's February break) so it won't be for nothing.
    Anyway... Yeah. Good night.

Hey guys, long time no see.

Okay so I'm not sure how many of you actually care about this account anymore, but I figure I should post something about it either way. I wanna start out by saying that all of you are so great and awesome and I can never repay you for following me and reading my stories in the first place. This is honestly one of the huge contributors to my initial budding as a creative writer, and it makes me so so happy that you all were kind and generous enough to help cultivate my love for the written word.

Admittedly, I think I jumped into the whole "original characters" thing too early. Looking back I think I definitely had some issues with what actually constitutes a strong character or a strong storyline in general. Some of my first stories were mostly coping techniques and wish-fulfillers that I attempted to pass off as some kind of epic. In fact, I'm not even sure if I even want to continue the fic I first wrote for this site.

Not to say that I've given up on writing. Not by a long shot. I'm still dreaming, still thinking, and still writing to my heart's content. It's just that now I've had a bit more time to refine certain aspects of my writing, and almost none of it has to do with ponies, I'm sorry to say.

Which brings me to my next point. I wouldn't say that I've grown out of MLP:FiM. I actually still enjoy a lot of episodes from the first few seasons. However, sometime after season three I just... Stopped watching. If I tried to explain exactly what happened in concrete detail, I would be lying. As far as I could tell, part of it comes from lack of time (school), lack of resources (I didn't have cable for a while, and still barely even use it), a general lack of interest (the show just generally stopped clicking with me towards the end of season three), and distractions aplenty (more specifically a new fandom I have found myself dragged headfirst into kicking and screaming). I'm sure that, given opportunity and time as well as spontaneous reinterest I would find myself sucked back into the fantastical world of magic and ponies and universal potential, a renewed passion for these colorful characters, but as of right now I just have no particular desire to continue writing for this site.

I could be wrong, of course. Hell, even just visiting this site again could inspire me to continue the stories that you guys seem to tolerate. However, I find myself already inundated by schoolwork, college preparation and applications, as well as personal outside commitments, and I'm not sure how much thinner I can stretch myself out until I break like an over-inflated balloon.

Maybe once I graduate, once I move into a college dorm, once I find more free time than I could ever dream of compared to my current schedule, I will get back to writing for this site. You guys are all so amazing and this is such a great community, it would be more than a shame to have to drop it all and have my only remaining connection here be fond yet distant memories. So I'm going to try to keep in touch as much as I can. So if any of you see this, please send me PMs, comments on my page or on this blog, or anything really. You don't have to, but it would be appreciated and let me know that I haven't abandoned you for so long that irreparable damage to our friendships have been made.

So basically, to sum up in a TL;DR format: Thank you for supporting me; I'm sorry I've been gone so long; I'm not sure if I will be able to write again in the near future; I'll try to keep in touch

And lastly, thank you all for sharing the magic of friendship with me.

---

P.S. If my writing in this blog seems a bit flamboyant or grandiloquent, that may be due to a strange combinations of the college essays I am required to write and the Romantic Gothic literature I am reading for my AP English class. I hope it wasn't too much of a pain to read, lol.
