Silence is Golden

Ugh, the editor-in-chief finally broke IGN's silence and did a piece on Gamergate.

IGN, your silence and neutrality was the reason you were the only stop I made for industry news. Granted, the editor's letter was sensible and fair, but I was kinda hoping you would never say a word about it and just let the denizens of the Internet scream at each other. That is what we do best, after all.

The only "poison" is the bullshit that the gaming journalists are trying to pour in our well. They call us misogynists, terrorists, worse than ISIS, Ebola, and Hitler combined. They advocate bullying during bullying prevention month. They do everything they can to deflect attention off of them and make GG look like Satan's legion, just to avoid being ethical and objective in their journalism and reviewing practices.

I wish we could go back to the roots of Gamergate and justly punish Zoe Quinn for throwing Wizardchan to the wolves so she could get the feminist vote on her shitty game so it would get greenlighted.

The reason why the gaming community got so pissed was a mixture of Quinn being a whore and the feminists sticking their noses into gaming. I remember because I was riding the wave. The entirety of Gamergate started because of a misconception of what Wizardchan is, and I think it should go back to being about Quinn's whoreness and bitchness. Nothing else.
