Another Butt Bandit Chapter, Cobblestones rework/rewrite news and hype, and... yeah. · 11:05pm Oct 21st, 2014
So here I am yet again, minions. Hey, you guys like updates?

1. There's a new chapter of Billybob the Butt Bandit out. So yeah. If you want to go read that, feel free to.
2. A while back I took my fic Cobblestones off of the site for a few reasons.
- I ended up trying to plan the entire fic out on paper which led to it not only being difficult to write (wanting it to turn out a certain way, forcing characters to do things they probably wouldn't do to get a certain result, yada yada yada), but also leading me to not want to write it at all.
- Looking at where I got in the planning and writing process, the protagonist had a few more characteristics of an antagonist as well as some near teen-level angst (I know that's a stretch coming from an 18-year-old like myself, but hey, it was pretty angsty). Along with this, the characters I had planned out were all, to be honest, freaking depressing. I know it's post-apocalyptia, but everything was just so negative; there was really no point for them to even do anything. It was here that I realized that what I was trying to write was something that I couldn't. Inadvertently, I had wanted to create a fic with the feel of Vocal Brony's Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, but it seems as though that ended up backfiring. What actually happened was, in a way, me trying to emulate another writer's style to a fic I wanted to write, but that ended up not working at all. So as some of you already know, I will try again, but this time in my own style (still going to have a ton of adventure and stuff, some humor, not as dreary, etc.).
As far as that goes, I already have several parts planned, but I won't over-plan it; the author needs some adventure, too. 
Just be sure you keep a close eye out - don't want you all to miss it! You all are really cool, after all.
