My NEW status as a writer

A little over a year ago I posted about my status as a writer, that status being as not really doing anything. I've had a very on-and-off career when its come to writing my fanfics. When I originally started I was all hyped up for it. Plus the fact I had friends who also wrote MLP fanfiction which helped motivate me even more. Eventually, however, things slumped. For one, like many other writers, EqD gave my first story Dark Conflict a very stone-cold rejection. I can openly admit to people that I have a serious self-confidence issue, and this wrecked me. However I still managed to keep my spirits up, and eventually wrote a small one shot, Death by Cello. Not too long after that, is when I decided to start writing my Dark Conflict prequel story, The Solaris Chronicle.

Unfortunately, due to many stressful life events and a whole horde of other things brought my writing of Solaris Chronicle to a halt. Perhaps what held me back the most was my previously mentioned self-confidence issue. My stories in general, although not receiving much negativity, didn't and still haven't been noticed. I find it very difficult to keep writing knowing that there is no one enjoying my writing.

But anyways, all of that aside, in the past two months I have finally brought myself back to writing. I intend to continue writing Solaris Chronicle until its finished. Perhaps I never will get noticed, and its true my writing skills are dismal compared to certain others, but I've come to be heavily attached to the stories and characters that I have created through my Dark Conflict series. Even if all the world will hate me and my stories, I won't stop loving what I have created.

So in short, my status is 'returned'.
