Revenge Is a Dish Best Served Cold Chapter · 10:34am Oct 20th, 2014
As the title states, chapter should be due this week sometime. I've got about 8000 words at the moment, aiming for 12,000, but I've had a few delays.
If anyone knows what a Host Server is, what happens to said Host Server when it's motherboard gets fried, then you'd probably have a good idea of what's consumed my time for the last four days.
Ouch. Well, suppose it could be worse than just the board going out on you, still that sucks a big one. I look forward to the update, til' then, best of luck with the board. Gods knows it's the best part to replace.
You need to install the quicksave addon in your life.
That way you can save before you work on a problem, find out how to fix it, then quickload to when you started. That way you have the solution before you start and can finish faster.

Oh, I don't give two hoots about the actual server, I'm more concerned with the hundreds of corperation workers who have no printers, share drives, networking or access to their profiles calling me up to fix their problems.
That's not even going into the problems caused by moving domain controllers onto a temporary replacement server.
The best part? It's all going to happen again when we fix the old one and put it back in.

The amount of bugs I have in my life leads me to believe that I'm running Vista for my life OS. Hence, that add-on isn't supported.
2545085 It should be backwards compatible with the Vista version of LifeOs. Perhaps you need to update your drivers.
What the hell is with almost every good author having computer issues? It's almost like a curse.
It's like live is trying to shove it's fist so far up your ass until it reaches shoulder. At least that's what it seems to be doing with this 'problem' with motherboard of host server.
Man... I just finished Valiant Hearts.
IT, the most under appreciated job to ever exist. Did you have to deal with idiots who come to you asking you how to fix a problem and then get all uppity about it and act like they know more?

Not really, we kind of control all of their user accounts and profiles, so they tend to hold their tongues.
