I dunno, making fun of these kinda...leaves a bad taste in my mouth :-/ :-(
To give an example:
I remember feeling like this. I remember screwing up all my courage, trying to ignore my doubts, and publishing something on fimfic for the first time.
And then being told I sucked (not that the story sucked, but that I, personally, sucked), for not managing to keep a consistent character voice, for having weird paragraphs, and a host of other things.
Things which I wasn't familiar with, and which I simply didn't know how to do correctly.
Of course, it's not the reader's job to fix the story for the author; but...everybody started somewhere, and I don't think anyone's first story was all that good.
Actually, I'd bet that if we found out the mean age of the people who wrote those things, it would be a bit younger than the average user's.
I'm sorry, but this hits too close to home, and it feels unpleasantly like being asked to mock and bully people weaker than me :-/
Anyway, I read the link you provided and, 1) Those students are just that: students. They ARE going to be stupid, do stupid stuff, and act inappropriately, because they're young, and don't yet know how to behave. 2)Those students had, in most cases, a whole semester to learn things and ask the professor what to do. People on fimfic often have nothing and no one. Yes, there is the EZN guide-but it's not impossible to simply not notice it (I know I didn't for at least four months). Yes, they can ask other authors for help-except that if they read something, it's probably good, and contacting the established author of a very good story is often...intimidating, if not terrifying. :-/
So...yeah. Sorry.
Actually, now I want to go line by line, unpack those concepts, and give a theoretical explanation of how one could get a good story out of it.
I might just do that tomorrow; it's gonna be fun.

Actually this one sounds kind of interesting. Though I wouldn't really imagine Twilight as a trickster, I think she could pull it off if bureaucracy grated on her long enough. Or, perhaps, Celestia gave her some pointers.
Rest of them are shit, though.

I like to think I've improved, yes, but that's something that's very difficult to judge by one's self.
If you want, you can take a look at what I've written, keeping in mind it has received tons of edits, and that my newest work is in the writeoff group (which I joined in order to, well, improve), and still awaits editing before I publish it here.
