"Quickie Reviews": Yay or Nay?

I recently started a rather weird thing on my blog (not this one, but my official MLP blog). Basically, I review an entire season of MLP:FIM in one go. To do this, I summarize all of the good things and bad things into one or two sentences and list them under "Pros" and "Cons". I might add that I don't rewatch the episodes before I do this. It's mostly from memory and, on later revisions, I tend to add stuff. My question is this: Is this a good idea or are more detailed reviews more practical? Especially for those using the reviews to decide whether or not they'll watch the episode.
