It has been a while so I decided to review a fic for old time's sake. This is a fic by vrabo (gonna start giving the authors credit from now on) and it's a good read. But does that mean it deserves a definite 10/10? Of course not, not all fics are 10/10 material. This is my opinion, take it with a grain of salt.
The fic is told in the first person perspective of nate. A human in equestria who is an overall nice guy......or so he seems. One day, nate gets bored of his usual day to day life.
I like the fic because it's well written, and the protagonist/antagonist is the kind of guy who knows what to say, when to say it, and when to use their more gentler side as cover. Keep in mind I don't hate the character. I just dislike him for his mindset.
Speaking of disliking stuff, it's time to give reasons why I don't like the fic. Something I've haven't done much of with the other fics I've reviewed in the past.
1. Chapter six
As I said before, the fic isn't finished yet. There are currently seven chapters, and chapter six? Not everyone's cup of tea. It's....violent further into the chapter and a little further in, stuff happens. Not saying what, there will be no spoilers.
2. The rating
This is purely nitpicking by the way, but with all the stuff in chapters six and seven, you'd think it would have a mature rating. And you'd be wrong because it still has a teen rating. This doesn't affect the quality of the fic.....okay maybe a little.
I did like this fic though. It's a good read. It's not my favorite, but it's still in the top twenty. 7/10
