So once upon a time there was a Skype group just for female MLP fandom VAs. It was a chat full of shenanigans and, yea, one evening there was a call in which several members discovered they had all played Applejack at some point. Thus, the southern best pony impressions did fly, until the resident Apple Bloom VA dropped in and demanded to know which was her real sister.
"We all are!" shouted the various Applejacks. "We're all Applejacks."
"But how can y'all be in the same place?" Apple Bloom VA wondered in obvious confusion.
"Sorry," said the Twilight VA. "My bad. I think I broke the time-space-continuum."
And in the laughter that followed, a germ of an idea formed.
"We should totally write a fanfic about this," said TheLostNarrator. "With Applejacks from different universes all ending up in Ponyville somehow. And when it's finished, we'll all act it out. It'll be glorious."
"Leave it to me," replied Scribbler, tapping the side of her nose (which, in retrospect, was a stupid thing to do because it was a voice call and nobody else could see her.
And so, dear reader, if you managed to get this far, I entreat you to join us in our writing about this plethora of southern best goddamit ponies by adding your words to this interfic (interactive/collaboratively written fanfic) and helping us in our endeavour.
Oh, and just ignore that continuum rift in the corner. It's the only surefire way I have to get to work on time with morning traffic the way it is.
I was about to be mad about not knowing about it, then I realized, Skype. Then I noticed Voice Actor. Well... No time like the present to start trying my hand at voice acting.

In response to the Crisis of Infinite Applejacks.
Finished reading the first part and it's a good start so far. Now, let me see... (Takes a moment to ponder...) If I want to help out, there are a few things I need to know first.
1. Is there a spesific number of A.J.'s in this idea or are there limitless?
2. Can the duplicates be both stallions and mares or would you prefer mares?
3. So far in the link provided, is your post the only one up for the story? If not I will check back tomorrow and see if I can pick up where the other poster left off.
And lastly: How would I or anyone else who is interested post their addition up? Do we just type in our Guest Name and part of the plot in the Quick Reply box indicated on the links page? Or do we have to register first before hand?
(Side note- Oh boy, I hope this doesn't come back to bite me. Oh well, what's one more Project added to my list?)

No limits, though it's probably better to start small and let the cast discover more and more of them as the story goes along, for the reader/listeners' ease if nothing else.

ATTENTION ALL!
Okay, since this story is suppose to have a few things I thought I'd organize some of the broad ideas for it.
1st: Since the story starts off with only one Applejack & Twilight miscasting a spell and that we should only have a few Applejacks at first, how about Twilight casts the spell on AJ's hat?
Every time Applejack puts it on, a new Applejack appears; sans hat. Should that AJ put on the hat, another of our favorite cowponies appear.
2nd: Organization. One of my favorite crossovers were the Amalgam comics put out by DC & Marvel back in the early 90's. Their two universes got mushed together, and characters got combined.
The problem with this is that is that none of the writers talked to one another so characters were combined more than once (Bruce Wayne twice, & Professor X three times).
To keep this from happening again amongst the Chaos of so many writers, each writer only gets one pony to work with constantly with the exception of Twilight (have her teleport in and out of any chapter you write her in) and Pinkie (she gets around fast enough to fake teleporting).
This isn't to say that no other characters may appear in your chapter, but ask the writer who's using said pony permission first--and read their chapter to keep up on what's been going on.
3rd: Determine the End Game. Where will we all be taking this? Though the individual story arcs can have their own beginning, middle, and an end, we need to figure out what will join it all together in a neat little bow.
In Summary: These are only ideas I've had so don't feel like its set in stone. They're the roughest of drafts and if anyone else has an idea to change it, please feel free to say so.

We're rather trying to stay AWAY from that kind of Applejack, since it spoils the fun of anyone else wanting to join in who doesn't know your story and can offend authors if things happen to their creations that they don't like.
