Flash Sentrys family background

So I just watched Silver Quills analysis on Flash sentry and the why fandom HATES his guts with a passion. But that's not what I want to talk about. No what I want to talk about is his family background.

Lets start with Equestria Girls. Sigh, what a travesty, what an utter travesty of a movie. It had its moments to be sure, But all movies do. So it's still a travesty. Moving on, near the end of the movie Flash pulls up to the school in a sports car with personalized decals out the wazoo. Did he put those on himself? I don't think so, there are just too many and their too well done for a random teen to have done. So he(or his parents) hired a professional to have it done. I don't know about you but I'm fairly sure that's really expensive. Where did he get that much scratch?

Now lets move on to MLP (YAY). In the show flash holds the position of what's known as the "royal Announcer(great title I know)". A more than favorable position, and yet he only just joined the guard. To get that spot he would need mid to high ranking official to vouch on his behalf, Say his father or mother? Either could possibly have a military career, And use that influence to get flash a safe position within the Equestrian military.
