I feel it's important to have a story tell itself. If I, the author, have to explain something about it, then I did a bad job. I am posting chapters weekly to monthly though, and sometimes it's not good to let questions sit and stir. So I might be a good idea if I make something clear.
The Changeling Doll has a plot. Like, an actual plot with a conflict and goal to reach. It's not going to be a super serious dark deadly plot, but there is a plot. Now, the genre is heavily based on the attitude of the characters and narrative of the story, and a lot of what makes this comedy is how Stupid Doll treats his situation. So with that being said, Stupid Doll is going to treat the conflict of this plot the same way he's treating Twilight. This is a comedy/romance story. It's going to stay a comedy/romance story, don't worry. 1 out of every 3 to 4 chapters is probably going to be more plot than comedy, and every chapter is going to have a moment with plot happening. This doesn't mean I lured you in with comedy/romance and pulled a switch-bait for drama, the comedy will be there from beginning to end. This I promise you. This was just the first chapter where I actually had to make things roll and it was kinda hard to do. You might have noticed it wasn't a super good chapter. Sorry about that.

So, considering people are left a little fuddled, I figured it might be smart to host a little Q&A. You could ask a character something and I'll respond with said character, but if you ask me directly you'll probably get an easier to understand answer. If you try to question Twilight's beliefs on if he's a doll or not, I'm gonna be evasive since that's going to be somewhat addressed in the next chapter.

Hey, Pickleless, I really think that both the romantic and comedy aspects are very well done. Which is why I favorite the story. The mystery parts...could use some work. Like, most readers skip over stutters and mistakes in dialogue so its best not to have them be the only foreshadowing for an upcoming plot twist.
Anyway, my question is, what do you like most about your story? Is it the romance between stupid and Twilight (which is pretty freaking adorable, got diabeetus at least twice
)? Beating up stupid? Or something else?

If so, it implies something really serious, especially since indications point towards you having really strong feelings developing towards Twilight. If that's the case...if Chrysalis started to take action, and you had to choose between Chrysalis and the hive or warning Twilight...what would you choose?

And please tell me it's not going to take a dark turn like many of the stories I've read that deal with this topic.
So we know there are three changeling "dolls" one is Stupid/Poker Face I'm guessing based on the latest chapter that their names are White Lie and Quick wit. As stated in a previous question one of them is probably staying with Cadence and one is staying with Celestia and Luna.
Now I assume the one staying in Canterlot sent the letter to Twilight to cover his alibi and that it took so long to get a reply is trying to do it so Celestia or Luna don't notice. What strikes me odd is that the letter is signed with Poker Face instead of any of the other names seeing as Poker Face is the one in Ponyville.
Now my actually question to Stupid. Seeing as this is a plan Chrysalis doesn't know about is the plan to show to the princesses that changelings aren't "evil" and can live together?
Twilight, how do you feel sharing your doll with everyone else now that they (at least your best friends) know what he is capable of and what he has been doing like setting up Fluttershy and Big Mac?
