A Chance: Extended Ending and Flash-Fiction · 7:30pm Oct 2nd, 2014
As I mentioned yesterday night, I'd had a thought for an extended ending, and I wrote it up this morning. Unlike what I'd said yesterday night, it ended up being just long enough to be accepted as a separate story, so being the attention-hog I am, I went ahead and published it as such.
Not really much to say here; I was being intentionally vague about how the Dazzlings would react to this, or whether or not the students would believe the lie, as that's really not the point of the story. The point is that, being a reformed villain herself, I got to thinking about how she would regard the new villains, and how her own experiences post-reformation would affect that. Somehow this came about, and it seemed like a neat enough concept that I had to do something with it.
Other than that... I guess I just hope you all like it.
(And because I am a self-promoting jerk; if you did like this piece, you may want to also check out my other (considerably better) Rainbow Rocks fic, Temptation Waits)
