Wow, Okay. I said I was going to upload a story, and then almost two years go by with nothing. Until now.
For those looking for an explanation, its because of a glitch with my email account related to this profile making it impossible to upload anything and me being too lazy and or frustrated to focus on it for more than ten minutes at time every other month or so.
It's not cause I lost interest in ponies, or had any sort of negative emotional feedback about my own work, or any sort of blargity-blarg nonsense like that. Far from it. Ponies are still awesome. I'm still awesome. Everything is just awesome. I'm just really that bad with technology. Really. It's kind of pathetic.
ANYWAY, The Gift of the Unicorn is finally up despite it being started in June 2012 and finished and since untouched in December 2012, but delays aside, I couldn't be happier with the way it came out and I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has read it so far. Seriously, thank you SO much for the feedback and support. In a website chock full of epic level stories, you chose to put them aside and read my little paper cut of a stab at writing. So again, thank you.
As for where I go from hereā¦ I dunno. Unicorn was a test for me. I had never written anything and actually finished it before. I can come up with ideas left and right but to actually flesh them out and see them to completion rarely happens. I saw the prompt on Thirty Minute Pony Stories and thought of the general idea almost instantly, but it took me 6 months, a few hours EVERY day, to write and edit what should have been done in a half hour. Pace like that rivals George R. R. Martin. I dunno if I have the attention span to do it all again. I hope I do, and that its just a matter of finding the right spark of inspiration and keeping the flame alive. But we'll see.
