He gave me his permission to use this comicstrip to create a cover. I did almost nothing because I can't do any kind of art :D But the result is good, I guess.
I also sent "The Devourer" to Equestria Daily today. Wish me luck! It would be an honor to make it through.

Hello everypony. Few days ago I logged in here for the first time, but until now I was afraid to write a blog, because ... yeah, my English sucks a little xD I'm very glad I got such a talented translator for my story.
So, yeah, why am I here? I don't know ... it was in the black November when I started to write "The Devourer", or in German "Der Vertilger". That was the time when I began to love the show My little Pony and its character. For I have no significant skills in drawing, making PMVs or something, I told myself: "Hey [enter real name here], you've written some badass stories the last few years" (here I blushed) "maybe you can use your talent to take your place in the Brony-Community."
I have to interrupt myself at this point ... I cannot say if my English really is that bad I pretend all the time ... nevermind, if I did some mistakes, I hope you know what I meant ^^'
The Devourer is the longest story I ever wrote. Sometimes I tried to create some ... Lord-of-the-Ring-like stories, but over time, none of them were finished. So I try to convince myself that I'm able to bring an idea to an end. And I'm on my way.
The German version is almost six chapters old and has more than 100 pages. And there are more chapters to come. My dear translator Randir ( I don't know his RL-name ... we're on the internet, anyway) works his fingers to the bones to make my book become more popular. And he's such a talented kind of a Brony. He was the first one to find all my little "secrets" I've hidden in the lines. I made references to H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, Thomas Wolfe and much much more authors I like (for I'm a real egghead). And he found all of them! Maybe you can impress me and find them, too ;) Your price will be ... uhm ... well, something. Or not. We'll see.
Good, good. I'm very glad The Devourer is finally here.I believe we can have lots of fun together :) Ask me questions if you want. And I hope you like the chaos I'm about to write.
