    Yo

Oh man I've been buuuuuuuuuuuusy. Like, so much so. Just moved town and had to get everything situated in a new house. Plus, I've finally adopted a kiddo, so I got that going for me, which is great. More difficult than I ever thought it would, but the wife and I managed to get everything down pat (for now at least).

Lemme tells ya, trying to find a decent internet reception in Miami sucks balls. But on the bright side they have incredibly fruity drinks over here, which is rad.

Also holy fuck so much shit in my feed message. Haven't checked Skype in a long time. So many things. So little time.

    ...

Eh. So how are you guys doing?

Promotions 7: The New Sequel Of The Original Sequel... · 2:22am Sep 27th, 2014

Oh hey, this thing is still here! Great! I kinda needed an excuse to give you peeps good stories for once. And it's not just because I dread tomorrow. Nope, not at all. Not one bit...
...
Ah, fuck it, let's get to the promoting! I'm back, I'm square, and of course:

Did I mention I was yellow too?

First off, before we begin anything, I'd like to draw your attention to obabscribbler, a wonderful author and voice actor who has read a story of mine in the past. She's going through some tough times right now, and every little bit can help if you can spare it. The video explains everything.

Anyway, back to what you've all been waiting. Time for the reviews and promotions!

Cadance, Discord, and Fluttershy walk into a blizzard, but it's no laughing matter: there's something out there, buried beneath centuries of ice. But it's going to take teamwork to find it, and it's not the Princess of Love nor the Lord of Chaos that are holding all the cards.

What's more, somepony predicted everything that is about to happen, and it turns out that history has an unexpected cadence.

If you didn't already know, I helped proofread this story, and lemme tell ya, it's something else. It has some of the best Discord and Fluttershy interaction I've ever seen. It just really blew me away at how great the author made the characters click. Plus, Cadance worked out nicely enough in the story, and was a good inclusion to the overall narrative. The OC introduced in the story is also a nicely developed character, along with the overall tone of remembering history and learning its secrets. If you want a nice heaping of world building with a story that slowly grows bigger as you read into it, this is the fic for you!

It's been twenty years since Rarity was last conscious. Ponyville has been leveled, and Rarity is only now waking up. Of all her friends, only Fluttershy remains in her home. The stoic faces of the Royal Guard have been replaced by uniformed soldiers, and a pillar of smoke rises over the horizon.

With nothing but each other, Rarity and Fluttershy are left to search Equestria for their friends, and to discover what force has managed to so deftly rebuild Equestria in its image.

Even though it's on hiatus, this story still keeps me anxious every day for an update. The author certainly has a way of capturing Rarity's character and making the story move at an exciting pace. It's an intriguing mystery for how the rest of the story shall take place, and the fic itself is filled with mysteries ready to be unearthed. If you want a shot at a fic that goes a bit deeper in its narrative, this is your best bet!

A thousand years ago, Celestia banished Luna to the moon in a catastrophic fit of reluctant, righteous anger and went on to live in self-inflicted exile, or such is the doctrine agreed upon by the three churches of the Equestrian Valley. However, no one has ever been able to confirm this because no one has ever been able to venture to the peak of the mountain Celestia is believed to inhabit.

Ponykind is happily sequestered away in a valley between Mount Celestia and her mirror, Mount Luna, but their isolation is by no means permanent. The eastern mountains once thought impassable have been crossed, but not to the benefit of everyone. The griffons that ruled over the zebra in the savanna have since been deposed, and now interaction between the zebras and their former master is always tenuous.

The ancient Dragon Doors that separate the valley from the frozen north for reasons long forgotten haven't been disturbed since Luna's banishment, but just because something is, doesn't mean it must always be, and not all who inhabit the south wish to stay hidden from the north.

Hoooooooooly shit this fic. This fic. It's so deep into world building you think you've got some motherfucking Tolkien writing this. The story is riveting, exciting, adventurous, and very, very original. I'm a sucker for Alternate Universe fic, and this one goes above and beyond with its delivery. It's an epic, through and through, and I can't wait for the next chapter to appear. If you're up for some Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones-esque stories, definitely give this one a shot, you won't regret it.

And with that, the end of the promotions has arrived. So, uh... go to the stories and give them a read. Or comment. OR ANYTHING! YOUR SPONGE FRIEND PERSON REQUESTS IT NICELY!

Yes, the Twin Mountains is a greatly written story. Congratulations, Benny. I'll also get to reading the other stories as well.

Twin mountains should've been a clopfic's name.

Tomorrow is Saturday, Bobby.

Look at the top of the Box and suffer.

Can I just kill myself instead?

2487180 No, then you'll deprive of us of your wonderous self. :fluttercry:

There's enough worldbuilding in all these fics to create a whole 'nother show around. :rainbowderp:

Thanks for the stories! Very sad that score is dead

2487966

It's not dead, it's pining for Sugarcube Corner.

2487165 *sees that negative comments story*

That doesn't look so bad to me. :derpytongue2:

That is indeed very sad news for Scribbler. I have enjoined her readings from on YouTube for some time now. I must say I feel for her situation. I love having pet's around. You should hear the odd gurgling sound one of them makes when I come in. It sound like she is trying to growl under water. Not that there is anything wrong with her. She only makes that sound when I show up for some reason, and for no one else. And she doesn't just wag her tail, she wags her whole body, It's so funny. They are just so hungry for attention, and even if you where to give them a little, they become a friend for life. It's grate!
I have been wanting to do something for Scribbler, I just have not thought of what yet.
So you of all people, ask in her favor to help her by giving out a donation to her unfortunate cause? You got it.
I am all for helping her out.
As I said before, You are always thinking of us. :scootangel:
