Friendship is Card Games: Free Hugs

From the same animator/speech synthesist who brought us The Tax Breaks (Twilight), we have an adaptation of 8686’s Free Hugs! Let’s look at the economic ramifications.

Friendship is Card Games: Trixie and the Razzle-Dazzle Ruse

We return to the pony novels this week, and hopefully a better showing from the titular mare. Last time we saw Trixie in one of these, G. M. Berrow was channeling the fandom circa 2011 and making her and Gilda the designated antagonists of the piece. Let’s see what she’s up to this time.

Friendship is Card Games: Kenbucky Roller Derby #2 & #3

We return to the cutthroat world of G5 roller derby, where Sunny’s trying her darndest to prove she’s more than just a casual skater… and has assembled one of the most ragtag teams of misfits this side of the Mighty Ducks in the process. Let’s see how the story’s developed from there.

No, not mine. The Barcast's. The last call is currently under way, and if you want to hear my part in the grand interview lightning round, you can tune in at 4:20 Eastern/1:20 Pacific (about an hour from this posting.)

Yes, 4:20 on 4/20. No, I do not partake. Sorry to disappoint. :derpytongue2:

    Pest List

Just something I whipped together for fun one day, set to a possibly recognizable tune, all intended in good fun. And hey, given that I derived my Fimfic handle from a misremembered detail of the Mikado, it's only appropriate. :derpytongue2:

I have rolled a roughly fourteen-thousand-sided die thirty-one times.

Feel free to speculate on how and why.

An intense game of Warhammer 40k?

You tried to understand The Chase before the Big Reveal that is coming up near the end.

Is this going to be one of these this is the answer what is the question things? If so what are the star coordinates for the plane of Tarkir?

Because you could.

How do you even come across a die with that many sides?

I prefer my money-devouring nerd habits in a form that I don't have to paint.

2483820
Kudzu, trying to predict anything you do is asking for a loss of SAN points. And possibly the contents of a moving van dropped on my head.

2483821
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing it involves locking at least seven chevrons.

You were really bored.

One-shotober.

Because the thirty-one times thing.

Random.org because of reasons.

For the next thirty days you asked this question but with a different #, then travelled back in time to ask the question but with the number 31. I got it right, didn't I?

Because you tried really hard to ask a question but came up with an over-complicated answer instead?

... You were clicking the "random card" button in the Gatherer, weren't you? I do that sometimes. Find anything good?

2483985 Clearly the answer. In my spreadsheet which tracks which Magic cards I have signed by the artists, I have 16,327 cards through Magic 2015. That includes ABU and all the black-bordered expansions with original cards, plus tokens. Subtract out the duplicates, add in Commander, Planechase, and the like, and I wouldn't be surprised to see around 14,000 cards.

As for why, you're either building a deck, or finding cards to translate to MLP style.

fourteen-thousand-sided die

...Huh. Didn't know those existed.

Why would you need a reason? If you have a fourteen-thousand-sided die, you'd roll it every once in a while just because hey, it's a damn fourteen-thousand-sider.

I prefer my money-devouring nerd habits in a form that I don't have to paint.

My bro, who plays Chaos, has a bunch of Khorne Berzerkers that he hasn't painted and left as grey plastic. He calls them his "Grey Knights of Khorne".

Ironically, Our Spiritual Liege decided to mirror that event and make a bunch of Grey Knights into Khornate Knights by slaughtering a bunch surviving of Sisters of Battle and using their blood to purify their armour. The arguably purest warriors in the Imperium resorted to painting their armour with the pure blood of nuns to become more pure against a daemonic incursion, something they already do with regularity without any gory assistance.

Yeah, I guess this doesn't have too much to do with painting, does it?

Oh, and you're obviously some sort of bored space wizard. You transmogrified a crystaline planet into a small D14000 using space magic.

You had to pre-roll the 1's out of it?

The best reason to do anything, really.

Bargaining with the ghost of Plato.

2483886
I don't get bored. I just set up a drip-feed of interesting things to read or do or watch.

2483928
I clearly don't have access to time travel. The universe still exists. QED.

2483970
Just imagine how big the magic 8 ball has to be!

2484360
Well said.

Sadly, Matt Ward is not an Aura that gives protection from Matt.

2484764
Also a good reason.

And we have winners. One-Shotober wasn't interesting enough. I decided to give myself a set of random cards as prompts. The outcomes are... well, certainly interesting. Chronologically, they range from Alpha to Rise of the Eldrazi. This is going to be fun.

Ok, now that I know what's gonna happen, I'm really, really curios as to how it's going to happen.
