Just something to tide you all over till the next episode of God Squad comes out.
I give you Tydal in his royal armor.
The design draws inspiration from the Royal Guard armor... mostly because, in The God Squad, Celestia and Luna based the royal armor on their adopted father's own royal armor. Tydal's armor, which he rarely wears, is a more stylized version of his soldiers' armor. The crest on the top matches his scales, as the guards' crest does for the capricorn nation. On his chest is Tydal's sigil, the tidal wave.
I like it.
Reminds me of the description from the first God Squad story: clear precursor to the Equestrian Royal Guard. 
I will draw this in the future.
I kind of imagined it somewhat similar to the Capricorn cloth.

You know what this needs, a cape!
Nothing says "I'm a total royal badass" then a big ol' cape fluttering in the breeze!
Other then that, very nice.
