A Dark Reminder

Nearly 2 Years Since Last Chapter

Fuck, it's been a while since I posted a blog.

Longer since you posted a chapter.

    Here's Why

The Adventures of Fragment hasn't updated in almost a year now, and I sure there's someone out there who'd like to know why.

    Well, allow me to explain.

    Readings Related Question

The question is simpler than the answer.

Should a story's amount of likes matter if it's never been in the Featured Box?

Reading: Ace in the Hoof: Chapter 1 (SO IT BEGINS)

Fun fact: the outro song I used I used just because the main character's name is Dirge.

Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw On Being Deliberately Offensive

Hatred is a game that is deliberately trying to be offensive. Forgive me if that's obvious to you, but it apparently slipped by some people, who never seemed to grow tired of pointing out that it was offensive, and therefore shouldn't be allowed. You know me, I'm a pretty liberally-minded guy, but I confess to having difficulty following the logic here. Something set out to be

Okay, New Plan: · 1:23am Sep 25th, 2014

I've got a lot to say and all the time in the world to type it, so let's get right to it.

First off is a progress (or rather, the lack thereof) report on new chapters of The Adventures of Fragment. As I said a while back, chapter 31 is set to go but I want to get chapter 32 and 33 done first. Well, fuck all that shit. I'm really not making any progress on chapter 32 and I'm done having staring contests with the screen. I think part of the problem is that I've been pushing myself to write this story so much that my mind's changed from seeing this as a creative outlet and more of another chore I need to do. As such, I'm taking a[nother] break from T.A.F. but this time I'm going to write and publish a few chapters of a new story, Somber Tranquility*.

Also, I've gotten my first job! I'll be starting work in a few weeks, which of coruse, is going to cut into my writing time. Though don't worry too much; I'm not going to stop writing, I'll just be slowed down some. And, if anyone still remembers me mentioning it, I'm just waiting on a new microphone (which I might get for my birthday) before I start doing my readings.

For those of you who are wondering, about the publishing of chapter 31, I'm going to release it in about a month. Why? Because once I publish it, T.A.F. will appear in the Latest Updates section, something I really don't want until I've fixed a few more chapters.

So this is how all this is going to happen:

Fix up chapters 4 - 10
Publish chapter 31
Write and publish 4 chapters of new story
Come back to T.A.F. and give it another try.

I'm not done, I'm just changing focus. And besides, I've been wanting to get another story out for sometime now.

*Not keeping that name.

Im never gonna get to write Zecora's lines am I?:trollestia: Just kidding, and congrats on your new job man!:pinkiehappy: And I wouldn't go ahead and publish a whole story if it's not finished if I were you. I keep my projects more of a secret so that I don't feel rushed and deprived of that

creative outlet

feeling. Not how you work, fine, it was just a suggestion.

In regards to the Zecora thing: I have a tendency to ask for help with something long before I'll actually need it. I've had about 5 story cover arts made and haven't released even one of them. :twilightsheepish:

Ever heard of sandblasting?

The guy who did that job before me was fired for failing two drug tests (that all I really know about that) and my dad (who works there) told me about it, then we decided that he'd talk to the guy in charge and get my an application. A few days after I filled out said application and my dad brought it to them they called and asked me if I could come in for an interview.
