Okay. This is the last straw. I have seen TOO FUCKING MANY TCB Stories that picture us humans as selfish twats! We have made mistakes, but we also make great discoveries!

To deal with my problem, I need ideas. I need to think of a story that involves humans at the brink of extension, halp meh guys, especially you alphex.

Then here's one for you. Evolution brought about another species whose intelligence vastly outclassed our own. They took us on without warning, without provocation, and they won. Now, the last of our kind are struggling to survive. Will they find somewhere to call home, or will they perish under the rule of this new, more powerful species?
There's a few ways this can go, I think: 1: Ponies are the newly evolved species. 2:Some other animal evolved, and one or more humans find a way to Equestria, attempting to escape the death and destruction.

TCB fics only concentrate on the bad features. Where as I agree that a lot of people are asshats, they seem to lack those people who are actually good and try to help people... And Human's on the brink of extinction... how about a super plague?
