Okay... I Don't Like The Fact My Story Published Late... · 1:18am Sep 20th, 2014
I wanted my story to be published anywhere from 3:00 - 4:00, because that would have allowed many more people to view the story.
The story published exactly three hours fifty minutes later... at 6:50.
And now, only a few people have actually added any views to the story... And sadly... No new upvotes or anything but two comments.
Now, what I want to know is what the story approving process is like. I'm pretty sure that when I sent in a story with two chapters and about the same length, it was approved a lot quicker.
I mean, I saw moderators and story approvers on all throughout the time I was waiting for my story to be published. If I could ask for one thing right now, it would be to know what that approving process is like. Please! It doesn't take that much to look through a nearly 7,000 word one-shot, see that I have good grammar, check the short and long descriptions, and approve a story!
And sure, there were other stories published at the same time as mine, but couldn't they have been released during the three hours where no new stories arrived? That would've worked better, don't ya think?!
I think I'm pretty ticked off that no one is liking my story.
I know how much it hurts to find out that nobody is reading your story, as it happens to me as well. It always feels like a miracle to me whenever one of my stories happens to do reasonably well. I'll take a look at it and let you know what I think. Sound fair?
Well, I'm obviously not a moderator, but as a contributor for The Hot Muffins I do approve stories a lot. For a story of your length it would take me no more than 45 minutes and that's if I get interrupted. So, yeah... I have no idea why it would take so long. Sorry that it did though!

2468255 Both of you, thanks. It's nice to know that some people who follow you actually listen.
(No offence, anyone else who reads this)
Join the club... I posted a story the other day, a one-shot, about 2107 words, and it took about three or four hours for them to approve it.
But they do have over 1500 users on at the same time (currently 1711) and I'm sure that many of them approve stories at the same time.
I still agree, though. It is very annoying.
2468275 Just for the record, I read and liked your story a lot!
