CanterlotGuardian

Derpy, Pinkie Pie, Sweetie Belle, Chrysalis. Myself, summed up in four MLP characters. I'm a deeply flawed individual, but if you can get past that, I'm sure we can be the best of friends.

so I guess I could release a new story today... · 5:47pm Sep 19th, 2014

It's going to be done in a few hours anyways, so why not?

Is "deep-seeded" deliberate?

not really. I thought that was the correct spelling of that term. though I guess it could be "deep-seated".

I mean, it does make sense that it would be deep-seeded... the expression isn't the common one, but planting a seed deeply metaphorically could mean that it grows strong roots.

I know it's deep-seated, which also makes sense metaphorically, but I guess one could try to come up with the similar phrase of speech and it wouldn't necessarily be incorrect.

I like people who are prepared to use words in unexpected ways, especially if - as is the case here - you can still guess the meaning. Given the "seedy" nature of Applejack (works on an apple farm, is best described as a "hayseed", etc), I kinda like "deep-seeded" in this context.

I'll keep it as-is, though I did find out that the technically correct spelling for it is "deep-seated".

then I guess I'll tell you this first.

I just submitted that story. Hopefully it'll be approved soon.

I was looking for an "I CAME" reaction picture, but this also fit and was also funnier, imo.
