    Yo

Oh man I've been buuuuuuuuuuuusy. Like, so much so. Just moved town and had to get everything situated in a new house. Plus, I've finally adopted a kiddo, so I got that going for me, which is great. More difficult than I ever thought it would, but the wife and I managed to get everything down pat (for now at least).

Hey, it's that time of year again. With the colder weather and changing leaves. Or more along the lines of Florida terms, absolutely no difference whatsoever! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Whelp I Guess I Should Mention My Vacation Thingy

Lemme tells ya, trying to find a decent internet reception in Miami sucks balls. But on the bright side they have incredibly fruity drinks over here, which is rad.

Also holy fuck so much shit in my feed message. Haven't checked Skype in a long time. So many things. So little time.

    ...

Eh. So how are you guys doing?

Ew, Politics And Junk · 2:34am Sep 19th, 2014

Today, Scotland votes whether they want to be independent or not. Regardless of the outcome, I'm willing to bet something similar to this shall soon come to pass.

I give it three years.

In any event, I have a new story out, which is also political in some sense. I hope you enjoy... and stuff! Might do more if you guys like it well enough.

Twilight has come to discover that royal politics are complicated, but foreign policy is the worst. When the minotaur king decides to pay a visit, Celestia invites Twilight to be part of her first meeting with a foreign leader. This is her first big chance to impress on an international level... but the king isn't here to celebrate the Magic of Friendship, and he has more than a few choice words for the rookie princess. Twilight might just want to go back to world-saving after this.

Originally written for the write-off prompt "There's Magic in Everything." I was too late, then changed it up, and was left with... well, this. Brilliant!

Also, I swear to god, next write-off I SHALL have something. I SWEAR IT!

Scotland shall into the Room of Wait.

Wow.
Much Wait.
Independence Scotland.
Very Room.
Fuck England.
Wow.

That's exactly what will happen to Scotland if they go independent

Sounds a lot like Puerto Rico here, since they argue about being a commonwealth.

And then they try to arm themselves with nuclear weapons two years later.

Oh Hai Mr. Hat

I wonder who will get all that oil.

That's gonna be an issue. :derpytongue2:

They should think long and hard about their decision if they don't have the resources to back it up.

You say Scotland will be broke. I say it'll become the biggest national threat since ISIS. An entire country full of bravehearts will be created if they're independent, we'll be giving money to them so they don't go to war and gain more powers with every head they take.

Considering that Scotland's first order of business (assuming they become independant) will be bulldozing their coal power plants in favor of wind and solar farms, I think three years is too generous of an estimate.

FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Man, when that North Sea runs out in 4 years, they are gonna be so screwed. Betcha they blame it on some cabal of English bankers for destroying their economy somehow.

2466180 Do they realize that those tings work only 1/3rd of the time, and unless you can store 2/3rds of countries worth of power in batteries(hella expensive and inefficient), + all the power lines they have to set up...

The hell are they thinking?

An amusing comic and a story which seems interesting to read? I like this blog post.

I like the little Greece happily burning money. :D

I look forward to your entry in the next write-off. Just remember to double check the AM/PM bit. :raritywink:

"yey"

I also like Wales cuddling the pile of pounds which somehow got bigger over five years.

That they're gonna import power from England at exorbitant costs, further deepening their debt. Thing is, they wouldn't be able to do that even if they were swimming in money. England is reaping the fruit of chasing after unsustainable solar/wind pipe dreams. They don't have enough power to keep their own lights on, let alone export power.
