Chapter 30 Update · 1:34am Sep 18th, 2014
Wait? What? A chapter update for something that won't be here for some time is out already?
Well... kinda.
I am actually making this blog to sorta voice out my problem, which I really hope that some of y'all can help me out on.
You see, chapter 30 is currently at 6000 words in and it ain't even near the clop yet. I have a feeling that some of y'all are wondering what the big deal is. The big deal is that I'm worried that the chapter will be much more longer than the other two chapters that will soon follow it. You see, I'm not just putting in clop, I'm actually writing some parts that actually contribute to the overall storyline of Lonesome. As good as that may sound, it's kinda a problem; I don't know if I should keep it or scrap it.
I really wanna know what y'all think. I know that a few of you actually read my blogs but hey, at least someone is listening, and the someone could help me out...
I don't mind reading long chapters.
Plus plot development. Thats always nice.
Im with pickle here i do like long chapters.
2463519 Neither do I, but then I will have to create each chapter around the same length; that's gonna take a lot of time that I can barely spare at the moment.
Keep it long!
2463533 Why?
I've seen plenty other authors go from 2k-3k chapters to the occasional 8k. Hell, Dan_s Comments is notorious for long chapters, 16k+ on average, then he pops a couple 8-9k ones every so often(same idea just in reverse).
I get why you would want consistent chapter sizes. Its just that I don't really care what size a chapter is so long as it isn't painfully short.
I actually love long chapters, so more power to you
As long as the quality stays the same. That's the only rule if you want to expand certain things.
