(However I must admit I do not like the dub. The choice of voices sound appropriate, but... very half-assed. I may be biased coming from the original voice cast, though.)

I agree about Wakfu... I was so happy to finally get to watch it, but the English dub is just disappointing... And I haven't even WATCHED the French originals (yet, but that will happen one day). I've watched enough shitty English dubs in my life to recognize it.

For now, I'm probably gonna watch it though... since it's the only access to the story that I have. Also, despite them being half-assed, I will admit that I think the voice actor for Yugo fits. I HAVE seen the first episode of Wakfu in French (illegally... >_>) and I can agree that both French and English Yugo sound pretty good. It's the OTHER characters (Ruel, looking at you...) who sound fucking awful in English.

I couldn't really stand to watch much. I listened to Nox in the first fight and it sounded iffy... skipped to the last ep, hoping there might be improvement over the course of the series, but nope/

The last ep? I thought there was two seasons, but theres only one season on Netflix. Does that mean I was wrong?

Also, yes, there were parts where it felt like Nox (if that's the robot wizard dude)'s sentences were beginning IMMEDIATELY as the previous one ended. It was fuckin' disorienting to listen to.

No, I mean ep 26 of season 1. Since I've seen it before I just skipped ahead to have a listen. (and yes, robot wizard. He's a time-mage, so it might be intentional that they did that... but I can't remember this being done in french, so I dunno.)

I'm just gonna wait for my blu-ray from the kickstarter and watch it in french in glorious 1080p.

No, they will not be available after the Kickstarter ends.

While we hate to disappoint, the pledges and the majority of their rewards have been exclusively put together for this campaign only, including the Blu-Ray, therefore they are a Kickstarter-only perk and will not be available after the project is complete!

The pledge rewards will be Blu-Ray only.

We will be unable to add a DVD version for this project. Our budget for the project was based on choosing between these two technologies, and Blu-ray is the more popular choice at the moment.

We are not totally ruling out the idea of producing an English DVD version in the future if demand merits it, but for this project, it will be Blu-ray only. Sorry to disappoint you, DVD users. :(
