Due to contractual obligations, I can't provide any specific information about what went down.
The contract doesn't prevent me from expressing my emotions though. I am frustrated. I feel sorry for and apologize to Doctor Spectrum and Cerulean Voice for inviting them onto the writer's panel and telling them with confidence that the convention was 100% going to happen. I also apologize to any of my readers who put time and money into tickets and airfare in order to come see me.
For those stuck with plane tickets, I'll be attending a meetup at Hyde Park in the city on one or both days that Sydneigh was meant to be on (27th, 28th). See the Bronies Australia forums for more details in the Sydneigh section.

It's all right, Slorg. You know that I am still excited to go to Sydney — and I am still very excited to catch up with you there. I am as frustrated and angry about this as you are, and I can't believe that the convention hosts would cancel the convention after lying about reaching 100% on their goal mark.
I am going to try and make the best of what has happened. We just all need time to cool off and think about it with more depth, after all. It could have been much, much worse. We don't even have the complete story yet.
