024 Promoting a story: The Queen and I
Do you remember Cheersalis, a story wrapping my headcanon about changelings? It turns out that one of the readers has decided to write a continuation! Go ahead and check out The Queen and I by SoloBrony, a [Sad][Slice of Life] tale rated E for Everyone which not only expands on the setting and matters brought up in the original story, but also grants us with an interesting take on the characters you already know.
How’s life treating Cheersalis nowadays? What issues are troubling Chrysalis’ assistant, Iqqel? What past is haunting the mighty Queen herself? My guess is as good as yours, so have a short description to get you in the mood, and onwards into the Hive!
"Queen". It's a funny title, isn't it? On the surface, it seems to mean one thing, but in practice it can mean many. This is the story of my relationship with that title - and the one who bore it.
I should probably mention that you don’t even need to read Cheersalis to enjoy TQ&I. There’s a working Prologue which outfits you with all the information you’ll need.
