Honestly Though... · 12:47pm Sep 15th, 2014
Father Mare has come a long way since when I started it. This is one of the facts about many series like it, since the author improves over time (unless you're Tara Gilesbie, that is). However, with this being said, I feel as if I need to tell you guys something about this.
Soarin and Spitfire are now separate after the birth of their foal, because they fell out of love with one another about seven months in.
Father Mare was never meant to be completed. I was going to write it, work on some other stories, maybe get a little over halfway there, then leave it behind like the rest of my projects. There was only a 33.3 percent chance of finishing it, repeating of course.
Their foal is officially female, though you knew this if you read my last blog post.
This is a bad habit of mine, and I wish I could stop it, but I can't. There was honestly a reason I wrote it, but I lost that reason after Chapter Two. I don't know why I can't have any of this stuff stick with me motivation-wise.
Nimbus has a yellow coat, with multi-hued blue mane and green eyes.
Please don't hate me since I'm telling you this. I only want to make you guys happy, and if writing this is what does it, then I'll do that. It just might not seem as lovingly cared for as it did previously. You might see the occasional plot hole, a bad line of dialogue (not as bad as Dinklebot though), or even a flat character appear. But if the last one happens, I'll make sure not to make it Soarin's long-lost cousin who woke up from a two year coma and hates him.
Consensus says that I should make the foal like Fluttershy, except not as shy. A relatively weak flyer, but not as bad as Scootaloo.
And that's all I have to say about that. Feel free to comment on these revelations.
