PS4 and Destiny · 5:27am Sep 11th, 2014
So I have a PS4.
And Destiny.
So if you have one or both of those*
*Implying you can have Destiny and not a PS4 (no xbone)
You should add me.
So we can go on Raids and Strikes.

Yes, I know it's stupid, but I have some 13 trophy levels and PSPlus that I don't want to get rid of. Along with a bunch of games.
I also have a PS3. For The Last of Us and such.
So go do it. If you're cool enough.
I'm happy for you and all, but for me it's better to wait till march, and play it on proper platform.

Bah. I have a fair amount of games on there too. But I'm happy with my exclusives.
2446956 With PS4 you might, but certainty isn't something console owners can have in this generation.
GTA V, Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Read Dead Redemption, Destiny, Metal Gear Solid V, all those games were suppose to be exclusive, now they're not, or won't be for too long.
More than that, there are signs and rumors, that Halo Master Chief Collection, Final Fantasy XV and Quantum Break will come to PC as well.
With Xbone and PS4 trying to be basically a closed PC, all those melting exclusives, and Steambox on the horizon, 8th generation might be the last one, excluding Nintendo.

I don't really mind. I didn't get the console just for the exclusives. I got it because I like Playstation, and I don't have to worry about system requirements when I'm getting a game. And, as an added bonus, I get two or three free games per month.
And I wouldn't call PS4 a closed PC. It's got two or three exclusives, but all the big names are for everyone. Xbone's a little worse, keeping some really cool things to themselves. Nintendo's the worst with that by far though.
2447082 Good, good. I was worried that you might be a peasant.
If you're paying for PS+, than they aren't technically 'free'.
Actually it is. Both Xbone and PS4 are. From the hardware point of view, they're almost like gaming focused Apple PC (iMac is a PC, no matter what Apple fanatics say). And looking at software, their stuff and SteamOS are the same thing with different UI. This gen is more like PC than ever before.
PS. Calling them 'closed PC' it means that you can't change or upgrade hardware, and messing with the OS voids your warranty.

Yeah, I sorta misunderstood that one. But I kinda like the fact that they're closed. Don't have to worry about upgrading them.
