Howdy howdy howdy! Boy it has been awhile... not since the end of season three, when you think about it!
To all the new people here, thanks for following me! I've not been reliable with my big projects ever since college started in earnest, so I'm going to mostly be a small time writer for awhile here until my life is more stable.
To all my old time friends here... I missed you all greatly, truly I did! I've said I'm not the most talkative on here, and that fact will remain true, but I'll make the effort to try.
Now then, I'm going to talk about how things are looking for me right now. For the new people; this is mostly going to be a discussion about my ongoing old works. I'm going to talk about the new work in the next paragraph though, so just read that if you wish and then be on your mary way!
For the old people; I have a new story! I started this Saturday on an impulse, and it came out in four chapters before I knew it! Only two are available on the site right now, though I'm very tempted to post up the third one right now. I can only really write these on Saturdays, but since my max writing speed is 10K words a day I should be able to stockpile quite a few of these if I so wish. I need to figure out a release schedule though... any suggestions would be most appreciated!
Now for my old followers; I still plan on one day reviving A Cog in the Machine. I sound like a broken record, but really I do. An entire reconstruction will be needed to match my standards, but such a thing hasn't been viable for a long time. Now though, I'm trying to get back into the swing of writing, anyway I can. Sometimes these attempts click, other times they don't, but as long as I keep on trying and remember WHY I write, things will eventually work out for the better.
I'm still in a bit of a depression pit right now, but a light HAS appeared at the end of the tunnel. New job, new diplomas, the end of college in sight and the chance to finally repay my dues to my family... I think things are going to work out for me soon here rather then later ;)
So, that having been said, please enjoy the new story! It may not be anywhere near as emotional as A Cog in the Machine, nor as comedic as And then Twilight Exploded... but I'm having fun writing it, and I hope you'll have fun reading it ^_^

P.S. Oh! Been meaning to mention it since I saw it in the finally; remember that one bit where Rainbow Dash catches Spike? Adorable right? Yeah, well... unfortunetly, all I can hear was a SNAP sound whenever I watch it >:)

I still stand by what I said that little while ago; the story is perfectly fine as it is. But, if you really feel that you need to scrap it and build it up again from scratch, then I’ll just say- here's hoping the new story get ya back in the groove and just be careful of the old self-doubt perfectionism trap because I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take it. And remember, the best way to get back into it is just to do it, instead of waiting until its perfect.
Oh, and just remember not to suddenly bury poor old Thardoc with edit's.

That's what I"m thinkin'! Something like... I post a chapter before work Friday (got one good to go right now!), then I write my two or three or whatever on Saturday, my free day, then I post it up at a busy point Sunday and focus on my studies or whatnot!
