I know exactly how you feel. Long ago, I made a habit of keeping my unread favorites at zero. Nowadays I'm determined to never let them exceed one hundred, and I'm five updates away from failing that.

I kind of feel for you here.
I write a chpter, edit, re-read, burn and then re-write it again. I take so long I lose steam to write sometimes. I think its better to take your time when you write because if you do a rushed job, it could take away from your work. I hope this helps.

I don't know why you've decided to attempt reading that while it's being written. With 2 to 3 chapter updates a day on average, your chances of catching up are... well, let's just say kudzuhaiku will finish writing it before you can finish reading it.
As for MLC, it is a delightful fic that is written at a sane man's pace. I love it.
Now Changeling Doll... I'm expecting your draft soon.
