<Personal> America, Muslims, and IS: My Opinion (AKA: RANT TIME PEOPLE!) · 2:27am Sep 5th, 2014
So before I go on, you need to read this article. It's about Muslims in Britain who denounced the actions of IS. Read some of the comments too; it'll help you understand what I'm going to say here.
Anyways, onto what I think. Keep in mind, I am Christian, so I am going to toss some Bible verses in this to prove my point.
I enjoyed this article until I read the comments.
Sweet hellfire, these people are some of the most hateful, spiteful, terrible people. They say things like "these Muslims are taught to lie" and "bullshit they support IS just like the rest".
Really? Are you that closed minded? With your logic, the entire religion of Christianity is like the Westboro Baptist Church. Obviously, that isn't true, just as not all of Islam is like IS.
And then there are those bringing America into this. "Muslims hate America. Kick 'em all out." First off, most Muslims don't hate America. Sure, some might not approve, but many others still do. And kick em all out? I'm sorry, but again, with your logic, all Christians would get kicked out along with the WBC. Why? Because you brazenly ignored the right to Freedom of Religion.
Oh, and to the supposedly religious Christians who commented such hateful crap: did Christ not teach to love? To never be hateful? Did He not say, "You have heard that it was 'you shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 5:43-44) Alongside this, I have seen comments from these same people saying that all the Muslims needed to be killed. To them I simply say that Christ had said, "Let he who is without sin throw the first stone." (John 8:7)
By being so hateful, you have gone against the word of Christ himself. So please, everyone, remember this:
Before you condemn all Muslims like the Jews of old did to any who opposed them, listen to what Christ said: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." (Matthew 7:1)

I think that no one must kill all the people of one religion like hitler tryed to do and man that article has so much hate.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
Unfortunately that sometimes means fighting to protect the ones you love.
Just make sure you're fighting the true enemy...
