It broke!
My slump shattered on Saturday. I managed to break it by typing out over 15000 words for you all. Some is garbage but I liked a lot of the ideas I had so I am putting them in as well. Though no retcon.
The things that basically brought this on were:
The girl I was seeing gave me the boot in a way that really made me question why I was with her in the first place,
I ended up in the hospital. I am about 6'1" and was 140 maybe on a good day. I worked 56 hour weeks and barely slept so I was basically driving myself into the grave. That was about 2 weeks ago. The doctors said I should get on these meds to help but I don't like being on a pill all too much so I asked for other options. I have had to almost triple my caloric intake and start sleeping at least 5 hours a day, also exercise more. As of this morning, I gained almost 10 lbs which is absolutely staggering for me. So I am off to a much better healthy life now that I am taking care of myself and I have been ridding myself of people I felt were toxic to me.
Anyway thank you so much for being there and waiting, patiently or not. Also I will finish this story. I will end it the way I have had it since the first day I put the pen to paper for this. I don't know how long it will take but I want to welcome you to the ride. Expect something this week.
