A lot more stories heading your way (now with pix!) · 3:29pm Aug 28th, 2014
Yup, I've gone back on my whole "I can't write" phase and am now going to see if I can't get you guys some good, old-fashioned ponyfiction. That is, if anyone is around to read this blog. :/
Currently, the stories I am working on now are: Terminus, Hawkeye Delicious, and the The Burning Woods. For cover art, I have the great and powerful TNaB to thank for Terminus. For Hawkeye Delicious, I'm hoping someone can help me create a relatively simple cover for the story. And I do have a picture for The Burning Woods. Also I have TNaB to thank for the awesome cover art for War Horse, a story I'll be explaining in just a little bit.
Or, maybe right now!
Anyway, here are a list of stories I plan on writing, with the cover art I plan to use. Keep in mind that all of these are WIPs, and the premises, titles, and even art may be subject to change:
War Horse - during a war between humans and ponies on Earth, a corporal in the U.S. Army is assigned to be the first pilot of the "War Horse", a heavily-armed robotic mech-suit designed with weapons that utilize harnessed unicorn magic. A bit like Pacific Rim and that one scene from District 9.
Cover Art:
Hunter: Unbound - the human mercenary known only as "Hunter" is one of the deadliest contract killers in the world. One day, he receives a contract to eliminate a target who goes by the name of "Cadance." You can see where this is going. It's like Usurped Dawn but not as bad.
Cover Art:
[as of yet untitled] - a werewolf story starring Big Macintosh. Not much else to be said.
Cover Art:
[as of yet untitled] - another war story also starring Big Macintosh. This I might combine with elements from my old story The Dead City to make it a bit more interesting.
Cover Art:
Also if I were to write a sequel to this story, this would be the cover art:
The Signal - this one I've been planning for a while. One day the Mane 6 and their crazy friend Tinfoil Hat discover a strange radio signal unlike anything they've ever seen or heard. Together they must embark on a journey in order to find a source of the signal. You'll hate the ending.
Cover Art:
That's all I have at the moment. There are some other ideas floating around in my head, as well as some covert art I'd like to use or give to someone to use. Because cover art is one key to getting people to read your story, at least I think so. I hope to hear what you guys think about these potential stories, which ones you'd like to see, etc.
Until then, stay classy.
