2395732 Give the second season a try. It's been doing amazingly well sticking to the story of the light novels the anime's based on.
Of course, the first season was always gonna suck ballass, because its source material was written at first for an online contest, but has the author had missed the deadline, he released it anyways as basically the first 13th - 15th episodes of the anime. The rest of the two years, he'd bopped around and wrote for, but it had lacked any sense of flow from the get-go thanks to that.
But season two was written and produced with a good flow, that had a goal in mind and everything. It's good enough that I'm replying to you about it. I don't usually do that.
