The Doctor's finally here! · 8:17pm Aug 23rd, 2014
Well, I just got done watching Doctor Who and well, I don't really know what to think, honestly. I mean, I like to think I'm rather adaptable and can really get into anything without too much for example, the transition from Tennant to Smith, all it took was that one episode and I was hooked. Matt quickly was high enough to battle David for my favorite Doctor but watching this, it's... Well, weird. I mean, every Doctor before this has had these sort of funny little quirks that were apparent almost immediately.
Capaldi's rather different in rather obvious ways and he did amuse me quite a bit in some bits of this episode. I just think that it might just take some time for me to get used to this whole new Doctor!

Also that call from Eleven toward the end that was just brilliant. I've gotten so attached to that childish, awkward, funny man that seeing him again and at that moment when he called was just, fucking dammit that was the best little bit for me of this new episode.
So ye who follow me and who have seen it, what are your thoughts, eh? Like him? Hate him? Somewhere in between?
I'm watching the beginning, so i'm still not there.
Also, I started from tennant, but I've seen the finale before him and I'm interested now to watch from the very begining.
