Just a friendly reminder to any of my followers who will happen to be in the Vancouver area this weekend: I will be at Bronycan. Not only that, I will return as the host of the fanfiction panel, along with soundslikeponies and Horse Voice! The panel will be from 11:30-1:00 on Saturday in the Tivoli's II room.
We will likely not have much time for audience questions during the panel, as I've got a fairly tight schedule written up, but I'm more than happy to chat with anybody at any time during the con, unless I have to be somewhere. With luck, this panel will be recorded and uploaded to Youtube sometime in September.
This year, Bronycan has used this handy dandy website called sched.org, and I have put it to use. You can find my rough convention itinerary here, so you know where to find me most of the time. Beyond this stuff, I'll likely be in the vendor's hall, eating, or lining up for autographs.
If you can find me in the later evenings, I will likely be drunk.

My con budget has been depleted for one year, otherwise I would totally go. Still, those sound like interesting panels and I hope they will record them for streaming later.

If I could get an international fight for $21 (Hell I'll even pay USD) I would be there, no questions asked.
But yeah, traveling otherwise is a little expensive.

Had to leave your panel early because I wanted to hit DHX panel but your advice was brilliant and very very useful. Although I'm trying hard not to feel professional jealousy and shame because I just realized I messed up something XD. Thanks a bunch for sharing your knowledge though!

I'm so glad you found that panel useful. I tried really hard to include both basic and advanced knowledge over a strong variety of topics to reach the broadest audience possible, and I attempted to give it a good, cohesive structure when I wrote the outline.
