Gamecube Master Race · 5:35am Aug 20th, 2014
I just found mine and might be EXTREMELY distracted now. Also, Dreamcast can suck a dick.
Quick, best Gamecube game! I'll go first!
Awwwww yeeeeeah. Motherfucking Super Motherfucking Mario Motherfucking Sunshine!

I've never actually played Super Mario Sunshine.
Favorite game for the Gamecube? Anyone ever play Battalion Wars?
Man, I'm jealous right now! I want a f*cking GameCube!
2385013 Don't forget the PC can emulate previous gen consoles. Hell I'm currently playing on a VBA (GBA emulator) and DeSmuME (NDS emulator), switching between them ofc. Also playing Super Smash Melee with a friend using Dolphin (GameCube emulator) using its netplay feature.
Hold Zed
SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEE!
Or maybe Game Boy Player. I'unno. Does that count?

Gay.

Okay first of all the best Gamecube game was Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Second of all the Dreamcast was amazing and you know it.
upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/ba/MetroidPrimebox.jpg
Bitch, please. I'd otherwise say LoZ: Windwaker, but I've never been a huge Windwaker fan. I have a soft spot of Luigi's Mansion, too.
Metroid Prime was pretty good.
Ah the Gamecube, my favorite game was super smash bros. melee. Fond memories of being destroyed by my brother spamming the dk punch
Kirby Air Ride and Pokemon Colosseum. Made me want a Gamecube so frickin' bad.
I never actually had a game cube. I only had my sturdy little SNES until I hit highschool. SO I've never played any Gamecube games :(
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
You know, the left handed Link version. Extremely rare, too
You're aware, Bob, that slurping on phalluses doesn't actually, y'know, negate the Dreamcast's complete and utter superiority.
Anyway.
Play these, and become the legend you were always meant to become. That's an open invitation to anyone in this thread, BTW.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, as previously mentioned, is also excellent. I would include Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4, except it's actually far more worth the time to track down and play their Wii ports instead. Same goes for Wind Waker's Wii U HD update.
You mean Super Mario Community Service?
Also, because I have to.
Resident Evil 4, of course!

Who could forget this guy?
I can't stand Sunshine... I just can't. But The Thousand Year Door? YES!
2385082 Try the Wii version if you haven't, the only motion controlled game I have ever played that got it right... oh makes me sad. Because no one ever copied them.
3 little words: Metroid fuckin' Prime.
1: Eternal Darkness
2: Metroid Prime
3: REmake
4:PoP: TSOT
5:MGS:TTS
Honorable mentions to Melee, RE4, and Sunshine
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, much?
LOOK AT THESE THINGS:

So yeah. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is best because of the chaos and anyone who says otherwise is lying.
1. Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition (Five games in one, what's not to love?)
2. Mario Kart Double Dash
3. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness
4. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
5. Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc
I actually need to get mine out some more...
3 words:
Tales Of Symphonia
it was a smash hit on the blue lunch box, it got a Japanese-only PS2 port, a 11 episode OVA series, and it was recently re-released on the PS3 with it's seqeul Dawn of the New World

I just love this game. I'm hoping to get this for Christmas for the WiiU--even if I have to buy it myself. I have fun memories of pure isolation and addiction with this one. It's this, or Mario Kart Double Dash.
Man this thread is reminding me how many good games there were on the Gamecube.
Favorite game on Gamcube? Easy... Skies of Arcadia: Legends. All the stuff from the Dreamcast version plus extra content. Really wish Sega would make a proper sequel.
upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ea/Ttydbox.jpg
Word, yo.
it has to be super smash bros melee why, the endless cartoon violence and best soundtrack
That logo brings back so much feels
I think I'm going with Mario kart double dash
I couldn't really tell you. I only ever OWNED four Gamecube games because we never really had the money to buy more. So, out of the four I owned, Sonic Adventure 2 (the title says Sonic Adventure 2Battle 2, but Adventure 2 and Battle 2 are seperate deals) was the game I spawned the SHIT out of as a kid. I mean, DAT FUCKING ENDING.
And then my sister broke the disc and my childhood died right there. ;-;
Nintendo is love. Nintendo is life.

Super Smash Bros. Melee. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was fun too. And so was Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
2385076
Y'know, other than Sonic Adventure and Marvel vs. Capcom, I don't remember that I used our Dreamcast for all that much. Sad too; if it'd had more support, I would have liked that console a lot more. It was still a great and innovative machine, but it died before its prime.
2385037 What he said.
relyonhorror.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Eternal-Darkness-Title.jpg
My choice will always be Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. The player has a role in the story, the world is a thing of beauty and wonder, the music is great, the combat and inventory systems are fun and innovative, and the final boss is basically Frankenstein's monster made out of the pieces of dead gods.
Really, the worst part is the frankly terrible voice acting.
Resident Evil 4, Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, Legend of Zelda: Windwaker and Twilight Princess, Metriod Prime, ect.
Damn I have to play these games again eventually

sorry guys i have you beat

muh childhood
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle defined my childhood along with Super Smash Bros. Melee, Luigi's Mansion, and Metroid Prime. The Dreamcast was my very first console so it will always have a special place in my heart. I remember play the shit out of it.

Haha, I remember when I was about six or five and I used to: come back from school, go into my mom's bedroom, hop on the large bed, turn on the gamecube, play Super Mario Sunshine, and then she would enter her room looking exhausted from work and just stare at me until I looked at her and gave her a hug
I can't even look at that gif without hearing xylophones in my head. Well, I second the vote for Tales of Symphonia.
But as a system, the N64 was better.
2385125 Agreed, Wind Waker is easily the best GameCube game.

You're speaking my language.
But there are a few names missing from this thread, so I'll have to rectify that.

My gamecube had ALL THE SHIT
I had that travel screen that you could take on road trips, and the Gameboy player so I could rock Pokémon Ruby on the road

Now, for games...
I'd have my top 3 here:
1. Mario Kart Double Dash (I played it till the disk stopped working )
2. Kirby Air Ride
3. SUNSHINE, NYUGGUH!
I'm still deeply-ingrained in the NES/SNES/N64 life, however, and play those WAY MORE.
Lost Vikings, Kirby: the Crystal Shards, and Super Mario Bros. 3 all see daily use here in the Nintendo life.
