Is it truly the author that writes his stories? It feels as if the energy of the universe flows through the soul to bring the privilege showing a new world to the reader through a miraculous arrangement of symbols that become words that then again find meaning.
I ask myself is it possible for- Okay you caught me I'm just messing around. I like philosophy but not quite that far.
I wanted to do a little experiment. I published "A Burning Desire" and "Blood Trails" at the same time to see something. What I noticed is that while Blood Trails had more than twice as many words it only got 4 likes and no comments in one night while the one with a sex tag (A Burning Desire) got 25 likes, 1 dislike and 2 comments. Really this only confirmed my guess that anyone could have told me.
Apparently people like sex stories.
"Ya don't say?"
I know but still. It's like a fricken sex tag is mandatory to get off the ground it seems. So anyway...I'm done. Shoo. No that's not shooing that's stalking me.
Don't read to much into it. Popular stories are about 50/50 in terms of sex or not. Desire just seemed to resonate more. I liked it even before it got to the sex. Also Blood's cover art is kind of off putting, or maybe that's just me.
I suppose but when I say that I'm thinking more with Sombra's Redemption. I've put far more writing into it than anything else and it's been up the longest yet it's only my 5th best story while Lyra's Dirty Little Secret is barely over 1k and is my most popular one (though Playing With Fire has more views) I'm not upset it's just a little confounding how it's like that sometimes.
